Poche is one of those artists who needed the world to experience a pandemic and lockdown to finally spend some time experimenting with creativity. So, in July 2020, in the midst of the global crisis and chaos, he posted his first comic strip on Instagram that would help make people smile and distract them from reality.
“Drawing comics was always something I wanted to try and thought it would be cool. Covid really gave me a lot of time to try it out. I’ve been drawing all my life, but comics have been such a fun thing to learn and get.” best at,” Poche told Bored Panda.

Poche started drawing black and white comics with creepy horror characters like the skeleton, Jason Voorhees, Jigsaw, Grim Reaper, zombies and ghosts. Later, he began to include more colors, themes, and characters ranging from well-known pop culture references to “average” everyday people. These comics are especially suitable for people who love pop culture. You will meet characters from Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Power Rangers, Grinch, Cinderella, various famous horror characters and many more who find themselves in unexpected and hilarious situations. Have you ever wondered how Jason Voorhees spends Thursday the 12th or what happens when the Grim Reaper sleeps? Well, Poche offers the unique perspective of him.
“I’ve been drawing my whole life because it’s something I love to do. Making comics is a creative outlet for me,” said the artist.
