These comics by Israeli artist Yehuda Adi Devir are fantastic! We have more sweet and oh-so-familiar snapshots of domestic bliss shared by this talented couple as a follow-up to our previous story, which described the adorable relationship between him and his wife Maya.
“My daily life with my wife is my inspiration,” Yehuda told Bored Panda. “Our ‘One of Those Days’ comic series focuses on real-life events that happened to us, and it was all about illustrating pleasant memories.”
Who would have imagined that marriage could be so much fun? The pre-wedding love story has been portrayed as the pinnacle of romance for years, but we think the daily love these two share, from their odd habits and quirks to simply helping each other carry the groceries, is far more romantic in its simple and lasting beauty. “Maya, my wife, and I have been together for almost eight years,” Yehuda said. “After a long time of friendship, we met in the military service, started dating, and got married a year and a half ago.” “Then I sit down and start working.” Maya adds her suggestions for improvement once I’m done, like color, font, etc. This whole procedure takes less than a day.”
