Jenny Jinya, the artist who makes people cry with her comic Loving Reaper, started the series with a story about a dog that was left behind. Over time, she has incorporated more and more animals into her work, such as bunnies, parrots, and elephants. Now, Jenny is back with a piece for another good boy in a bad family.

Three days ago, she uploaded a strip that takes us back to winter. Zeus, an optimistic dog, spends his days freezing, tied to a kennel. However, this does not break his soul. Zeus still loves his family. But the weather is more than he can handle.

what makes Jenny Jinyas comics unique is the fact that she extensively researches the topics she covers. And this was no exception. Sadly, winters produce reports of people leaving their dogs outside to die in the cold.

“I wanted to take this topic for so long,” Jenny Jinya told Bored Panda. “I’m annoyed by the fact that there are still people who believe that their dog can handle everything, as if they are keeping a wild wolf in their garden. But our dogs have been tamed, they have adapted to our circumstances. Most dog breeds do not tolerate cold (with the exception of northern breeds). Finally, I developed an idea for a story that I could build around the problem

Comparing her latest strip with what it all started with, Jenny admits they are similar in some ways. “I had the feeling for the last year that I was moving away from ‘the roots of my comics’. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but sometimes I had the impression that I had completely forgotten why I started Loving Reaper.” she explained. “I lost some of my motivation and inspiration. I tried to bring him back with this comic. “

The creator also shared some good news with us: most of her stories will soon be published in a book with a strong cover. There will even be some previously unseen comics and some other surprises. Pre-orders start this August, so keep your eyes open. Jenny Jinya will soon announce more details on her site and her social media accounts
