Raising children can be overwhelming, but Kayla Larson, a mother of four, has found a creative path to her turmoil. Larson sketches interesting, humorous portraits of life as a mother, along with all the fun obsessions that come with raising young children.

The artist has been fascinated with art and animation since he was a child, thanks to classic Disney movies like The Little Mermaid and King Ling. After college, she got married and had children, and her time for art was reduced. A fire broke out on the kitchen table one night, according to Larsen, especially after the parents had a difficult day.

Despite my clumsy attempt to draw a cartoon, I decided that the title “creator” was a part of my identity that I could not leave. I think I needed a wake-up call because I went to work right away.

Larson reclaimed his faith and changed the way he portrayed his style, as shown by his work. She now promotes her art by reusing her long parenting comic. Check out her work by scrolling down.
