Everyone’s partner is unique, but that doesn’t mean people don’t have similar experiences when in a relationship. It’s nice to realize how special your relationship is, but it’s also nice to realize that you’re not the only couple doing your own thing: actually, in a sense, it’s even therapeutic to realize that you’re not the only “crazy” one. “. couple out there, and in fact, the “weird” things you love to do are actually pretty normal.

That’s why we can thank Anjali Srivastava for making comics that reflect everyday life and relationships with your partner in a very relatable way. Without further ado, let me introduce “Anjali Comics”!

Given the opportunity, Bored Panda contacted Anjali, the author of the comics, to find out a little more about her and her work.

“It all started when I first drew a comic strip for KT (My partner) in a role about the story of how we met.

She loved it so much that she asked me to create a few more and finally convinced me to make it on a digital platform and share it with the world.

And so Anjali comics was born. It’s been more than two years.”

Being an artist is not easy, one can easily find themselves uninspired, exhausted, etc., so we wanted to ask the artist about her inspiration for comics.

“The love and support I receive from my audience inspires me to create more comics and give them a reason to smile. It’s a great feeling and responsibility to know that people are looking forward to seeing my comics every Sunday night.

We also asked the artist how people reacted to her work.

“Oh, I love how they connect with us and our characters. I also get a lot of DMs from my audience that our characters look like them, sometimes they even send their photo comparing them to our characters.”

We were also wondering if the artist took any kind of art courses/lessons to get her career as a cartoonist off to a good start.

“Since childhood, I have always been fascinated by comics and doodles. And I have always been very good at drawing and illustrating, which is why I pursued my Bachelor of Fine Arts. There I learned the basics of design, illustration, and software such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. I create my comics in Adobe Illustrator.”
