It shouldn’t surprise us that we love cats. Yes, these little guys can be hard to understand at times, but their cuteness redeems all the mischief they might have gotten up to (accidentally or not). Living with a cat is never boring and we can prove it.

Lingvistov is back on Bored Panda with even more colorful webcomics depicting the hilarious realities of cat ownership: torn toilet paper, fur-covered clothing, early begging for food, laziness, and other antics cat owners can relate to. Scroll down and take a look at these hilarious comics.

Illustrator Landysh had previously revealed to Bored Panda that she has been drawing since she was a child, but never studied art because her mother wouldn’t let her. Fortunately, that never stopped him from doing it.

The artist graduated from a linguistic university and never attended an art school, so the illustrations are the result of passion, determination and determined work.

Lingvistov’s journey began when the artist launched a website, which was initially an English language school. Landysh decided to add his illustrations there to make it stand out from other schools.

The artwork received a lot of attention after the artist shared it on Bored Panda. He “forced” her to reinvent his business and focus solely on drawing.

The artist revealed that it has been her dream to become an artist since she was little and this dream drives her to move forward. “I capture small beautiful moments of my life. I think I mainly do it for myself, just to remember or relive certain moments, because every now and then I look at my comics and smile. I also do it for other people. I know for sure that some share my comics with each other and that sparks conversation and laughter. They reminisce about their own little moments.

The inspiration for the comics comes from personal life experiences. According to the artist, the best time to generate ideas is right before bed. “I go to bed thinking about my day and my cats and images come to mind.”

From having an idea to finishing the drawing, it is an absolutely exciting process for the Lingvistov team. “It’s a little adventure every time.” However, there are some challenges that the artist has to overcome. Landysh revealed that the most challenging thing for her right now is not letting herself burn out. “It’s hard work because it’s both manual and intellectual, so it’s easy to work hard. You want to do so much! And it takes longer to recover after you burn out. So for me, it’s finding a balance between rest and work.
