If you clicked on this post based on the title, we’ll assume you like cats and you’ve come to the right place. With that being said, today we would love to showcase new illustrations from a Hungarian artist named Rita Vigovszky. Rita’s work mainly features her cats, which are one of her most popular pets. At a time when many people find comfort in pets and also connect with them on a deeper level, the artist uses her talent to explore the relationship between cats and their owners.
Rita illustrates her life with a cat, and perhaps some of these illustrations remind you of familiar situations with your own pets. That said, if you’d like to see more of Vigovszky’s work on Bored Panda, be sure to click here to see part 1 of the illustrations!

Bored Panda contacted the author of the comics, first, we asked how the artist started making comics and how it all came about.
“I’ve always enjoyed these kinds of short webcomics and subconsciously started making my own long before I even started sharing them with the public. They’re a fun way to share your feelings with the world and see how people find these feelings are identifiable”.

We were also wondering what inspires Rita to do comics in general.
“Miyu (Rita’s cat) has been and will be my muse, but I like to be inspired everywhere, in my own life mainly, obviously, but I always try to make mental sketches and look for ideas for new comics. I have so many ideas to do, I just need more time for them!”

Lots of people enjoy the work Rita does, so we were curious what it was like to have such an inspiring audience.
“It’s very, very rewarding. Especially when you feel like the world is on fire with all these horrible events, seeing a comment where someone says my comic made them laugh, or getting a sincere comment for one of my commissioned illustrations, that’s what that keeps you going. It’s a really nice feeling knowing you could make someone’s day a little better.
