Remember Ben Hed, the cartoonist who showed us funny cartoons about what would happen if humans flirted like animals? He has created another fantastic series of cute cartoons that we think you have to check out. It’s about the most unlikely animal friendship between a little kitty and a big German shepherd dog meeting and it will melt your soul.
“Pixie is a happy, energetic little kitty,” Ben told Bored Panda. “She is innocent, and she is also somewhat oblivious to the serious and dangerous things around her.”
On the other hand, Brutus is a large German shepherd with scars on his face. He “he was adopted by Pixie’s owner after he retired as a Military Working Dog (MWD). Brutus, in many ways, is the exact opposite of Pixie. He… has seen things. He is a very serious and intimidating military dog, but he has a soft spot for Pixie and does what he can to protect her from the harsh realities of the world around them.”
“Honestly, Pixie and Brutus was just another random comic idea I had while I was at work. I never planned to make them into a series; I just thought it would be a fun idea to introduce a cute kitty to a big, intimidating war dog. So I did the first Pixie and Brutus cute animal comic, and people loved it so much that I kept doing them.”
