Bored Panda is always happy to share new works of artists from all over the world. This is the first article featuring comics of the “Idiot of the east,” so we were excited to know a bit more about Jauneil’s creative process and the artist himself.
The story of the “Idiot of the East” began not so long ago. Originally, Jauneil was planning to finish his engineering studies, find a job and save some money so that he could start making webcomics, which was his true passion. However, life took an unexpected turn and the pandemic happened. In the fourth year of college, Jauneil had his classes canceled, which left him with a lot of free time. The artist bought a drawing tablet, made some drawings, posted them on the internet, some people loved it and that’s how his journey as a webcomic artist started. Guessing we should thank the pandemic that we are able to enjoy Jauneil’s comics now.
