That’s the kind of other world I can support. I mean, superheroines are constantly shown in a variety of ways. While male superheroes are typically treated the same as female heroines, they differ in that they are rarely seen in pin-up poses or scantily clad. This may not be to everyone’s taste, but who doesn’t love seeing attractive men dressed up as pin-up models?

Because that is exactly what we will be seeing. While I can’t imagine Robert Downey Jr doing anything like this, the illustrations are entertaining. I must say that even if I ignore the theme of the images, the drawing style is really impressive. And we owe David Talaski-Brown a debt of gratitude for his outstanding efforts. My husband and I used to share superhero comics and movies when we started dating, so they have become a big part of our relationship. Even when they’re not great, they’re always the highlight of our week. I was going to my first conference and felt like I had nothing to sell that people were interested in buying. I had the idea of drawing iconic superheroes in the style of Elvgren and Vargas pinups.
What I like about vintage pinup drawings, and what I think draws me to them, is how they balance eroticism and comedy. It’s seductive enough to make you blush and at the same time goofy enough to make you laugh. Basically, erotica that you can display on your walls while you entertain your mom. We are enough. Every other booth at the convention has a profusion of art featuring scantily clad women, so why not give some of the MCU’s top hunks the same treatment? Isn’t it just reasonable?
After that, I started creating characters like Loki and Bucky, which I was frequently asked for. I recently left the MCU to take on Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, because how could I not? Just take a look. I am undecided on which one to tackle next. I have some ideas for Marvel and DC characters. Perhaps some of the other forms of media as well. -David

At initially, the artist only worked with Marvel superheroes. However, he had to make an exception when he saw Jason Momoa in the role of Aquaman. If you appreciate his art style, you’ll be happy to know that most of these prints are available for purchase in his Etsy shop, with the exception of the Green Lantern print, which is a commission.
