The artist admitted that he puts his energy into creating stories, which he loves to do. Even with a simple image, Lafebre strives to reach the feelings of the audience, in a positive way. “I like to recreate life as it could be, with meaning and full of good feelings.”
Lafebre grew up in Barcelona in the 80s and 90s, which means that he watched all kinds of cartoons, animation and anime on TV and read comics at a newsstand. “I remember collecting prints and magazine pages with examples of classical art and studying them with attention and fascination. I truly believe that the combination of popular culture and classical fine art is what creates the artist that I am today.”
