We’re used to seeing magical beings represented as ancient, bearded wizards or tall, well-built warriors. After all, it takes courage and skill to slay beasts or cast strong spells. But Rudy Siswanto, an illustrator based in Hong Kong, chose to flip around our preconceived ideas by presenting them as babies.

These guys all look badass, from Medusa to Minotaur and beyond, except they’re so young, you can’t help imagining them taking a nap in the middle of a serious search.
