Australian artist Ry Spirit answers that question with his impressive portfolio of artwork. Each Disney Pokémon is illustrated in a pre-evolution and final evolution format that beautifully portrays these lovable characters in a whole new light. After practicing art as a profession for over ten years, Ry’s inspiration for this series came from his love of pop culture and his obsession with drawing fan art about Disney and Pokémon.
Ry has created a legendary world unlike any other, using two different universes that shouldn’t be together. Seeing Ash and Pikachu battle against the final form of Winnie the Pooh is something I never thought I’d like to see come to life, but I’m glad it did.
