Raising children can be stressful, but Kayla Larson, a mother of four, has found a creative outlet for her turmoil. Larson paints interesting and humorous pictures of life as a mother, along with all the entertaining obsessions that come with raising young children.

The artist has been fascinated by art and animation since he was a child, thanks to Disney classics like The Little Mermaid and The Ling King. After college, she married and had children, and her time in art dwindled. There was a fire on the kitchen table one night, according to Larsen, especially after the parents had a hard day.

Despite my clumsy attempt at drawing cartoons, I decided that the title “Maker” was a part of my identity that I couldn’t give up. I think I needed a wake-up call because I went to work right away.

Larson regained his faith and changed the way he portrayed his style, as evidenced by his work. She is now promoting her art by recreating her long-running patriarchal comics. Check out her post by scrolling down
