Raising children can be overwhelming, but Kayla Larson, a mother of four, has found a creative outlet for her confusion. Larson paints interesting and humorous portraits of life as a mother, along with all the hilarious obsessions that come with raising young children.
The artist has been fascinated with art and animation since he was a child, thanks to classic Disney films like The Little Mermaid and The Ling King. After college, he married and had children, and his time for art dwindled. One night a fire broke out at the kitchen table, according to Larsen, particularly after the parents had had a rough day.
Despite my clumsy attempt at drawing a caricature, I decided that the title “creator” was a part of my identity that I couldn’t let go of. I guess I needed a wake up call because I went to work right away.
Larson regained his faith and changed the way he portrayed her style, as evidenced by her work. He now promotes his art by reusing his long-running parental comics. Take a look at his work by scrolling down
