It’s about getting to know each other in that unusual creature feeling between a kitten and a huge German shepherd dog, and it will make your day. (Pixie and Brute).
“Pixie is a rude, happy and playful kitten,” says the owner. “She has no guilt, but she is also indifferent to the real and horrible things that happen around her.”
Brutus, once again, is a huge German shepherd with scars all over him. Ever since he stepped down as a well-equipped military dog, the owner of the Pixie Company (MWD) has embraced him. In many ways, Brutus is the perfect inverse of Pixie. He has seen many things. He is an intense and fearsome military dog, but he has a soft heart for a pixie and goes to great lengths to protect her from the brutal certainty of the world.
Pixie and Brutus was the most unusual comic idea I had while working. I had no goal of making progress on these; I just think it would be interesting to identify a cute kitten with a formidable and menacing conflict dog. So I drew my first magical Pixie and Brutus comic, and people loved it so much that I’ve been doing it lately, Ben Hed tells me.
