As we all know, life is complicated, especially when it comes to relationships. Dealing with people from other backgrounds seems to be much more challenging, doesn’t it? What if he was stuck at home on his honeymoon for months because a debilitating virus swept through the world in a matter of weeks, leaving him with little time to pack? Nothing seemed to be out of our reach.
My name is Milia and I am a pharmacist from Indonesia. My husband, Matteo, is an accomplished Italian illustrator and we both like art. We were living the dream a few months ago in Bali, getting married on a small tropical island and then heading to Italy for our honeymoon and family reunion. We were forced to stay a bit longer due to the lockout.
Since there was no drama, just coincidences, we began to talk about our daily lives, overcoming cultural barriers with hilarious instances. Spicy food, painful yoga, romantic moments, massive portions, heavy bikes, sweet hopes and much more. Our lives seem to be an endless adventure!
